Good Stewardship: Its Rewards

Whether that something be intangible or tangible, once it has been entrusted to us to care for, we need to ensure that they are not lost, destroyed or maligned in any way because the one who has entrusted these favors or things to us will one day ask us how we have gone about being good stewards to what have been entrusted to our care. Parenting is a form of stewardship. The children borne of us are not ours --- not our possession. They are entrusted to us by the Supreme Father to raise in such a way that when they grow up, they will glorify their Creator. Discipline is a necessary part of stewardship where parenting is concerned because the Bible states to "T rain up a child in the way he should go, a nd when he is old he will not depart from it.
